Everybody’s Fine

I had a choice on Wednesday night between seeing Everybody’s Fine and From Paris With Love. For a reason I can’t quite remember, I went with the former.

Luckily for me, EF is not quite the ultra-bland family comedy it’s being marketed as. It’s actually more like Up, but with Carl Fredrickson replaced by that old guy from Meet The Fockers.

That’s not to say that it’s not unbearably sentimental and formulaic at times, but the cast is fairly solid and it’s nice to see DeNiro back in a role that’s, if not exactly challenging, at least dignified.

Final Verdict: 5/10.
Final Thought: Someone needs to make a TV show that’s just 60 minutes of Robert DeNiro entertaining babies. Trust me, it would run and run.

Oh, and…
