Look at these brutal motherfuckers: fifteen films that are helping to make Summer 2010 the worst season for movies since that winter that Fred Claus came out. I know no-one expects an avalanche of worthy masterpieces in the summer months, but this really is the pits isn’t it? For decent blockbusters, we’ve only really got Inception, Toy Story 3 and Scott Pilgrim to look forward to and while we couldn’t be much more excited about those, it’d be nice if they weren’t so few and far between. And after nine years, I’d assumed we could stop worrying about a Cats & Dogs sequel. |
