BBFC gets a summer makeover

The BBFC’s website has had a snazzy redesign (see above), and along with a ridiculous amount of blue and a frankly excessive use of Verdana, they’ve also added a little ECI logo to highlight classifications which feature their always-hilarious ‘Extended Classification Information’ boxes.
Sometimes these appear suddenly a couple of weeks after a film has been rated, as they often contain spoilers that are embargoed until just before release. One such late addition has just appeared on the page for The Human Centipede.
I made my feelings about The Human Centipede pretty clear a couple of weeks ago, but some of the phrases in this new ECI are too good to pass up:
‘undoubtedly grotesque’
‘The Board has taken legal advice’
‘bloody flap’
Eurgh.
