The Tillman Story is a documentary by Amir Bar-Lev (My Kid Could Paint That) about a government cover-up that took place during the War in Arghanistan. You can tell it’s about a government cover-up that took place during the War in Arghanistan because…
I won’t explain the story because it would severely diminish the impact of the film, but safe to say: it’s powerful stuff, even when Bar-Lev exercises his bizarre fondness for shots of his interviewees ‘on the phone’ or ‘doing research’. Not. Entirely. Convincing.
This won’t sell out so if you’re around, check it out.
