So there won’t be any posts on here today (apart from this one, obviously).
Presents to the usual address.

If you are reading this, chances are you:
a) Enjoy reading blogs.
b) Enjoy watching movies.
In which case it stands to reason that you’ll be seeing Inglourious Basterds whether I recommend it or not. Still, I’ll have a stab at it.
It’s incredible. This incredible:

In with a bullet.
In other news:

If Tarantino can carry on like this, he may well redeem himself.
Look, I’m sorry, OK? I can’t help it if the majority of the UK’s independent and arthouse cinemas are focused within Central London and the surrounding areas. Believe me, I’d like to recommend a nice Godard double bill in Manchester, but it’s simply not under my jurisdiction. So if you don’t live near London, look away now.
OK, now that those idiots have cleared off, take a glance at what you’ll be doing for the next 2 weeks:

I’d be really annoyed if this turns out to be at all accurate.

We put up the trailer for Mystery Team about six months ago and they still haven’t even come close to getting any UK distribution.
This is even more tragic when you consider the success of equally obscure but infinitely more shit films like Miss March, a sex comedy starring the guys from The Whitest Kids U Know (me neither) that has managed to secure a UK release date, albeit with a slightly less subtle title:

Anyway, even if you’re unlikely to ever see the movie itself, you can watch this short film that the cast and crew of Mystery Team recently made for San Diego Comic Con. It’s only 5 minutes long and its absolutely Uptown Top Ranking:
Ha ha ha.
