Simple Pleasures, Part 2

I’ve finally seen The Final Destination in 3D

Thursday September 24th 2009

I promised I would and I finally have. Seen The Final Destination in 3D that is. There’s really only one way to review a Final Destination movie so without further ado, BRING ON THE CHECKLIST.

How film magazines should be

Wednesday September 23rd 2009

This month’s issue of Vice magazine is ‘A Film Issue’. As far as I’m aware, this is the first time they’ve had a film-specific issue (in a while at least) and they’ve only gone and blown every other monthly movie publication out of the bloody water.

Featuring major (and actually interesting) interviews with practically every international director worth mentioning at the moment, as well as ‘alternative’ features that aren’t incredibly dull (I’m looking at you, Little White Lies), it makes Empire look as shit as Total Film.

And it’s free, obviously.

‘A pleasure to read’Ultra Culture.

It’s been 47 days since our last post about ‘The Informant!’!

Tuesday September 22nd 2009

And there’s absolutely nothing new to report.

Apart from the fact that if everything goes to plan, I’ll be seeing it on Saturday the 24th of October.

I have hyped this up too much. Sorry.
